At the center of this intriguing, entertaining, but at times, poignant and tragicomic story is the married couple Popovic. They have been married for 25 years, entering into it fueled by student love and youthful enthusiasm, eager for success in a trivial society where everything is allowed to attain status, career, and money. A quarter of a century later, after acquiring all material goods and while their children are studying and spending time abroad, this seemingly ideal family begins to fall apart.
